June’s meet was BLOOP GROOP GOES TO COLLEGE, 27/06/2025, from 5pm, our monthly synth meet with a twist.
Rich Duckworth let the Bloopers loose in Trinity, for an evening of HANG, JAM, PLAY. We got together, brought gear, hung out, chatted, jammed, and a few heads played short sets, from like 2 mins to 15 mins. Venue wasThe Boydell Hall Recital Room in the Discipline of Music, School of Creative Arts in the rafters of Trinity College Dublin - which is exactly as fancy as it sounds.
We did something new too - DFAMarama. Gary got obsessed with the Moog DFAM (thanks mylar melodies), picked one up, and imagined syncing a load of them together, culminating in the ultimate expression of percussive synth: DFAMarama. We polled our pals, and gathered 10+ Moog DFAM (+ Behringer Edge) on the night, for a semi-analog dream / nightmare).
