Bloop Groop at Dublin Maker Fest Draw 2026

Dublin Maker is a free to attend, community run event, which will be held in Leopardstown Racecourse on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August 2026 (10am - 5pm)

We’re having a draw on the day - merch, books, and more! Donate to Bloop Groop to get a chance to win. We’re not funded, we’re totally bootstrapped so your donation helps our community with infrastructure, storage, equipment, venue hire, website costs and other overheads. Draw takes place 5pm on Sunday 23 Aug - if you win, we’ll contact you, and we’ll post your prize if you’ve gone home!

There’s also a 90 minute workshop Beginning Bloopshop: Making your own sound, by Grainne Dowling and Caroline Swords, suitable for the Bloop Curious ages 10 and up at 12.45pm.

Dublin Maker takes the form of a “show and tell” experience where inventors/makers sourced through an open call, will have an opportunity to showcase their creations in a carnival atmosphere. It is a family friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement.
